Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Carry out repair, reinforcement and construction work on structures, foundations, walls and land stabilisation.
  • Skillfully use manual, electric, and motorized tools and equipment.
  • Operate specialized equipment such as grouting systems, micropiles and helical piles (we train you for this!).
  • Load, unload, and organize equipment, tools, and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Keep safety as a number one priority, always using your personal protective equipment.
  • Drive company vehicles if necessary.
  • Demonstrate a real commitment to quality, because our work is our pride.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable previous experience in general construction. Two (2) years of experience in a specialty (masonry, carpentry, etc.) will be valued, but we will consider equivalent experience.
  • Ability to perform demanding physical work outdoors and lift at least 47 pounds.
  • Be responsible and punctual, with your own transportation to get to meeting points or projects.
  • An attitude of "Always Pa'lante": willing to learn, face new challenges and use equipment different from the common ones.
  • Reside in Puerto Rico.

Compensation: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour

Transportation

Our compensation policies for travel time and mileage will apply according to the role.

In summary:

  • If assigned to reach a project or location one hour or more away from your place of residence, a stipend applies for each day worked at that location.
  • Trips during working hours in your vehicle to attend company matters can be submitted for mileage reimbursement.
  • In case you are assigned to work at a location more than 40 miles from your town of residence, additional compensation will apply to travel time.
  • A weekly transportation stipend may apply instead of the above at the Company's discretion.

There may be productivity bonuses, or incentives to be agreed upon on a case-by-case basis.

 

Salary Advances

  • Once you have been working for 2 weeks, you can request salary advances. 
  • The advance will be deducted in reasonable and agreed-upon installments.
